October 2021, My post went viral on Linkedin.com. I can't help but wonder why? Did I touch a nerve? Is this what people are experiencing today?

"10 years of sprinting through airports in high heels desperately trying to get home for football is sadly coming to an end."

Last night we honored our HS seniors. I took a moment to reflect on how quickly time flew by and how these are our final games.

Standing by my son, I realized I didn't have one single regret sacrificing work to be present for his beloved football games.

Ultimately, not one deal was lost because I prioritized my life around my kids. As a mom who was a single mom of two for a long time, in traveling enterprise sales, I lived what was the epitome of work/life balance.

It was hard and not always widely accepted.

But this bear hug last night made it all worth it!

Cheers to all my clients who always afforded me the flexibility; they knew this mama had to get home for some football!

Be present in the moment- no matter how many heels you break in the airport!

Kids don’t owe you anything

You know how I turn to writing when I need to get things off my chest, and today’s one of those days. I’m feeling pretty angry right now....
