Climbing up in your career is like climbing mountains.

Climbing up in your career is similar to hiking mountains and I love both for the same reasons.

They can be rocky, slippery, exhilarating, extraordinary, fulfilling, and challenging. They can have beautiful summits and dark and dangerous waters. The journey is always filled with some level of failure, tremendous successes, get up and brush off your knees moments, set backs and switch backs, lessons learned, proud moments overcoming your fears, clarity, finding your purpose, and surprisingly satisfying outcomes.

In this picture, a couple days ago, in Arizona, it was a beautiful summit filled with peace. As with every mountain I climb, I respect the journey and walk away with more knowledge.
